Rabdi | Rabri Receipe (Subscribe Me)

Rabri (Rabdi) is a sweet, condensed-milk-based dish, originating from the Indian subcontinent, made by boiling milk on low heat for a long time until it becomes dense and changes its colour to off-white or pale yellow.











INGREDIENTS

  • 1 litre milkfull cream cows / buffalo milk
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ½ tsp cardamom powder
  • 2 tbsp saffron milk
  • 5 almondschopped
  • 10 cashewschopped
Steps/procedure :
1. firstly, in a large nonstick pan heat thick cows or buffaloes milk.
2. furthermore, stir occasionally and get to a boil.
3. also reduce the flame to medium. and once a layer of cream is formed over the milk, stick it to sides of vessel.
4. repeat the stick to the sides at least till milk reduced to 1/2rd.
5. Add Sugar  and stir further.
6. Heat and stir gently still milk reduce to 1/3 rd of the original.
7. Add Cardamom powder.
8. Add saffron milk and stir it.

9. Add almond chopped.

10. Now serve in a kotori or a paper cup , but my best view to have rabdi when it get colder.
